Telehandler Skips (Teleskip)

Telehandler skips are the industry’s answer to safer manual handling.

Specifically designed to work with telehandlers, these skips automatically lock on and release from floating forks using a gas strut. You’ll see a reduction in shaking and vibration, all thanks to their positive locking.

By eliminating manual intervention, telehandler skips significantly minimise on-site accidents. Their lack of pivot or self-tilting mechanisms means drivers no longer have to leave the cab: your telehandler skip will do all the heavy lifting and create time for other tasks.

At Forklift Skip Market, our telehandler skips contain 30% more steel than our main competitor.

We’re offering our customers a skip that doesn’t compromise durability: they can handle the roughest on-site conditions and even have uses outside the construction industry. Telehandler skips are often employed for agricultural uses, like handling manure or feed.

Their industrial applications are second to none. Capable of moving raw materials and finished products in warehouses and factories, telehandler skips offer a more efficient waste management solution than traditional tipping skips

Our telehandler skips come in four capacities: two smaller skips, available in 500 and 750-litres. Whether a construction, industrial or agricultural project, these products provide a way to handle materials safely.

To help you determine which tipping bin you'll need, please see below a summary of the sizes;

FAQs

What is a telehandler skip?

Telehandler skips, also known as ‘tele skips’, are specialised containers designed for use with telehandlers.

Unlike standard skips, these appliances are engineered with specific attachments compatible with telehandler lifting mechanisms.

The appliance automatically attaches to floating forks using a gas strut rather than safety chains, as is common with traditional tipping skips. The gas strut also ensures positive locking for reduced vibration.

Telehandlers can also lift waste without self-tipping or pivot mechanisms because they make automatic adjustments independently. This, and other features such as the telehandler’s ability to automatically lock and unlock, limits the need for a driver to exit the cab.

As health and safety standards improve, telehandler skips present construction sites with a more reliable option. Their durable steel construction means they can survive even the toughest on-site conditions.

What are the primary uses of a telehandler skip?

What teleskip sizes do you have available?

At Forklift Skip Market, we sell telehandler skips in the following sizes:

  • 750 Litre: The 750-litre skip is a smaller option suitable for less demanding tasks but offers the same robust construction.
  • What are the advantages of a telehandler skip vs. a tipping skip?

  • Versatility: Telehandler skips are not limited to construction sites but can be useful in numerous settings. From farms to factories, they’re more versatile than tipping skips.

  • Ease of use: Telehandler skips are designed to automatically attach to floating forks without manual intervention. The process is more user-friendly compared to traditional tipping skips that may require additional equipment or labour.

  • Improved safety: Telehandlers automatically lock and unlock from floating forks and adust themselves, removing the need for drivers to leave the cab.

  • Efficiency: Telehandlers allow for quicker and more efficient material handling. In the long run, this saves time and labour costs.
